Lifespan-SBEM is Government approved, web based software, providing an interface to the SBEM energy calculation and a facility to officially lodge Commercial Energy Performance Certificates, via the RICS Accreditation Scheme, into the governments database hosted by Landmark.

If you are a qualified Commercial Energy Assessor (CEA) please complete the registration form and submit your details; once approved you will receive, via e-mail, a user name and password to access your personal account.
From your account you will be able to control your user profile, financial account and more importantly access to Lifespan-SBEM to start lodging your commercial EPC’s.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE:
You will not be able to lodge EPCs until you have received your official Government certification number (Department of Communities & Local Government) which will be issued to you by your accreditation scheme; the RICS.
If you have not yet received this certification number you will still be able to use Lifespan-SBEM up to the point of lodging the EPC i.e. you can start using the system to enter data and generate the outputs – BUT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LODGE YOUR EPC’s until the RICS have given you clearance (certification number) to do so.
If you have not got your certification number please insert your RICS membership number instead.
